The RIC works closely with UWGMC staff to develop and foster the vision for the UWGMC Resource Investment (RI) department by implementing a community impact agenda that reflects today's UW mission of improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. Its goal is to maintain a process and system that assesses and prioritizes community needs, establishes outcomes that are tied to community impact, leverages UWGMC resources (including staff expertise and time as well as various funding strategies), and attracts investors/donors to be our partners.

- Invest UWGMC resources (funding, expertise and time) in 3 Community Impact Areas: Helping Children Succeed, Fostering Self-Sufficiency, and Caring for Seniors & People with Disabilities
