2-1-1 is a multilingual, and confidential community helpline available 24-hours and 7 days a week.
Today, and in the months to come, individuals and families are experiencing both the health and economic effects of COVID-19. Calls to NJ 2-1-1 have doubled for food, unemployment, healthcare, and other needs.
United Way of Greater Mercer County (UWGMC) is mobilizing local resources to reach those in crisis. Since 2002, UWGMC has supported NJ 2-1-1, to provide access to information and referral services.
Governor Phil Murphy, the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, the New Jersey Department of Health, and the United Ways of New Jersey have activated NJ 2-1-1 to handle COVID-19 related calls from New Jersey residents.
