Covering the Basics

During times of uncertainty and crisis, people come together to support one another. We’re partnering to make sure basic needs are met.

Partner, Kimberly-Clark’s Cottonelle, generously committed to making sure toilet paper is accessible to our community by donating 10,000 rolls to United Way of Greater Mercer County. We then reached out to Mercer Street Friends Food Bank and Jewish Family and Children’s Service to distribute Cottonelle to their community partners. Together we’re making sure that families in Trenton, Ewing, Princeton, Hamilton, Cranbury, Lawrenceville, East Windsor and Hightstown have access to toilet paper.

“I am thrilled we have such a strong partnership. I’m proud of the work UWGMC is doing and I’m proud of our folks at MSF.”
-Bernie Flynn, CEO Mercer Street Friends.

“We weren’t expecting so much! Our mobile truck is going out to East Windsor with a food distribution; the toilet paper will be a bonus. Thank you so much for organizing this.”
-Beth Englezos, JFCS Manager of Senior Programs & Hunger Prevention
